Executive Coaching
Many executives experience a false assumption that once they reach the higher levels of organizational leadership they no longer need personal development. Nothing could be further from the truth. Combine this with the unfortunate reality that personal growth opportunities for people at this level are rare, in part, because executives are often insulated from meaningful, direct, and honest feedback.
We offer a self-leadership/self-mastery inside-out professional development process that allows executives to overcome subconscious and false assumptions brought about by years of conditioning both in a personal as well as professional capacity (each having a significant effect on the other). Individual conditioning acts as a predictor of our future behavior. Historically, some of this conditioning has worked well for us. However, a great deal of it is ineffective or obsolete and holds us back.
Paradoxically, many of the behaviors that worked for us in the past become major obstacles to future success (see Marshall Goldsmith’s What Got You Here Won't Get You There). Behavioral scientists agree that we use only a small fraction of the skills and knowledge we already possess as a result of our previous conditioning. Our Executive Coaching process allows our clients to overcome self-imposed limitations and permits them to restructure their old mental models that are so vital for successful leadership in our new economy.
In short, none of us can behave inconsistently from the image we hold of ourselves brought about by conditioned programming and old fixed, mental models. True advancement and true cultural, professional, and personal change requires breaking out of conditioned routines. Our process is designed and proven to effectively help you achieve this.
